Care Assistant/ Support Workers
Job Title: Care Assistant / Support Worker
Location: Belfast
Care Setting: Supporting individuals with Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Complex Needs
Salary: £ - £ per hour
(Enhanced rates available for additional hours worked)
Hours:
Full-time, Permanent
Typical shifts are 8:00am - 8:00pm, three days per week, with one full weekend off every three weeks (rotational schedule).

Key Responsibilities:
12. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care with dignity, respect, independence, and choice at its core
13. Support service users in day-to-day living and integration into the community
14. Assist with personal care, daily routines, social activities, and life skills development
15. Support service users in setting and achieving individual goals
16. Observe and report changes in service users' needs to senior staff
17. Participate in regular reviews and assessments of service users' progress
18. Administer or support with medication in line with the organisation's Medication Policy
19. Promote service user engagement and respond to concerns or suggestions in a sensitive, professional manner
Essential Criteria:
20. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including numeracy
21. Minimum of 1 year's experience in a caring role
22. Working knowledge of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities
23. Understanding of behaviours that challenge and how to support individuals effectively
