About The Role
As an Account Manager, you will cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, delivering value-added services that drive growth and retention. You will implement effective relationship management strategies to ensure optimal services including identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and follow up to showcase our unique offerings such as BeingWell Plus and CareHQ. Additionally, you will complete group agreements and onboard new groups.
Your responsibilities will include negotiating group scheme renewals, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and simplifying the portfolio for digitisation. As the key contact for Corporate within Southern Cross, you will present to various audiences, both in-person and virtually.
This role involves regular travel around the Canterbury region and will require use of a tool of trade vehicle; this travel is generally planned. A current New Zealand full driver’s licence is essential, and compliance with the Society’s Safe Driving Policy is mandatory.
About You
* Extensive experience in sales and customer service within a B2B environment, utilising in-person, phone and email communication.
* Strong ability to confidently communicate with and influence business owners.
* Skilled in presenting to business owners, senior decision-makers, and small to medium-sized audiences.
* Proven track record of working autonomously across a portfolio of clients or in a similar work structure.
* Evidence of learning supporting area expertise, curiosity and growth
* Agile mindset with a flexible and adaptive approach to work.
