Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a new challenge?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a busy team in Bristol. This full-time contract position involves overseeing a range of routine maintenance services, including grass cutting, hedge cutting, sports pitches (football and bowls) maintenance, landscaping, and invasive weed management.
Main Responsibilities:
·Team Leadership & Management:
oOrganise and supervise a team of five supervisors, overseeing approximately 60 staff members.
oFoster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
oMentor and support supervisors to enhance team performance and development.
·Operational Excellence:
oPlan, coordinate, and oversee routine maintenance tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery.
oDevelop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
·Quality Assurance:
oConduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high service standards.
oAddress and resolve any quality issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction.
What You Need:
·Proven experience in a managerial role
·Strong leadership and team management skills.
·Excellent financial management abilities, including budgeting and cost control.
·Knowledge of routine maintenance tasks and health and safety regulations.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
