Early Years Room Lead – Baby Room (Cyprus, MOD School)

The Role
Reed Education is seeking a warm, nurturing and highly experienced Early Years Room Lead with strong Baby Room experience to oversee the Baby Room at a supportive and community-focused primary setting within the Western Sovereign Base Area (WSBA) in Cyprus. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and runs until the end of the academic year.
You will lead high-quality practice within the Baby Room (0–18 months), support and mentor staff, and plan developmentally appropriate, sensory-rich learning experiences tailored to infants’ early developmental stages. A key part of the role is creating a calm, secure and stimulating environment that promotes attachment, routines, early communication, and physical development.
About the School
This nursery is part of the Defence Children Services (DCS) network and serves children of UK Service families and attached civilian personnel. The setting is known for its inclusive, nurturing ethos, strong relationships with families, and commitment to supporting children who frequently relocate.
Staff place great importance on building secure attachments, responsive caregiving, and maintaining a warm, enriched environment where every child feels valued.Located within the beautiful Western Sovereign Base Area overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the school uses its unique surroundings to enhance its broad and engaging curriculum.
As part of the MOD Schools structure, the school follows the National Curriculum (England) and meets all UK standards and inspection expectations.

Requirements
* Level 3 Qualified
* Right to work in the UK
* Strong Early Years experience specifically within a Baby Room, ideally in a lead or supervisory capacity
* Deep understanding of the EYFS, with expertise in supporting development from birth to two
* Ability to lead nurturing, responsive, child-centred practice that supports routines, attachment and early development
