Programme Manager
This role is hybrid and based in our Portsmouth office 2 days per week.

We're looking for a dynamic Programme Manager to join Markerstudy, one of the UK's leading insurance brokers. This is your chance to take the reins of complex, multi-project programmes and lead a high-performing team to success.
What You'll Be Doing
Define, lead, and deliver large-scale programmes (5–10 projects, £1m–£10m budgets)
Work closely with senior execs to shape programmes from idea to execution
Lead and develop a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers
Own the full programme lifecycle: scope, plan, resource, budget, risks, governance, and benefits
Use Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies to deliver rapid and safe change
Champion continuous improvement across the Programme Delivery function
Act as a trusted advisor and change leader across brands within the Group
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Proven track record delivering complex programmes with interdependent projects in a change environment
Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
Excellent stakeholder management – confident influencing at C-suite level
Expertise in programme governance, controls, financial management, risk handling
Deep knowledge of Agile, Lean, and traditional PM methodologies
Experience working in virtual teams and navigating ambiguity
Desirable:
Insurance or financial services experience (broking a plus)
Formal programme management qualification
