🚀 Founder's Associate
Part-time... for now whilst we get started(10–20 hrs/week) | Remote | £25/hour | Path

Our client is looking for someone who wants to earn the right to run a company.
This isn’t a glorified CoS gig. It’s for someone who can spot chaos, bring order, and take
ownership ideally with a few scars from consulting, startups, or building on their own.
Solo founder scaling a lean, fast-moving venture in the AI + workflows space. Things are working. We've got traction, leads, product, and momentum but I’m hitting capacity. You’ll be the first real operator to plug into the machine and help level it up.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
This starts part-time (10–20 hrs/week), but if we click and you deliver, the aim is for you to be running the day-to-day within 6 months. Think early-stage Biz Ops meets Chief of Staff.
You’ll:
* Break down partner funnels and rebuild them stronger
* Build systems (think: Airtable, Notion, tracking dashboards)
* Hire on Upwork lots of people specifically for tasks - a lean machine of experts, run
* ops, fix messy handovers
* Figure out what’s broken and fix it without waiting for permission
* Manage me if I’m the bottleneck
* Use the f*** out of GPT/AI
* There’s no manual. You’ll write it as you go.
You Might Be a Fit If...
You’re early in your career probably a couple years post-uni. Ideally Bain. Maybe McKinsey.
Maybe you’ve just been in the arena.
* You think like a founder: You're not waiting to be told what to do. You see systems, inefficiencies, and opportunities before others do. You get energy from solving problems at the root and care more about impact than job titles. You're scrappy, accountable, and allergic to bureaucracy.
* You’ve started stuff yourself: Could be a side hustle, a solo project, a scrappy startup, or building systems in your last role no one asked for. You’re not waiting for permission to make something better you just get on with it.
* You care about outputs not hours.
* You want to build, not sit in meetings
* You’re UK-based (ideally), sharp in writing, and fast in execution
* If you’ve read Paul Graham’s Startup = Growth and felt it in your bones we’ll get on.
Why This Role Isn’t Like the Others
This role is inspired by the Mochary Method of Biz Ops and Exec Ops mini-CEOs who can:
* Shadow and scale a founder
* Run OKRs, hiring processes, reporting cycles
* Build and manage systems end-to-end
* Eventually step into leadership or COO-level positions
* You’ll get context, not just tasks. You’ll have freedom to shape how things work. If you’re good, this role won’t look the same 3 months in.
Where This Could Go
* This could stay lean and part-time. Or it could evolve fast. If you earn it, you could own the ops and be earning 6 figures. But you’ll need to prove it.
How to Apply
* No fluff. Send:
* A short intro
* 1–2 examples of things you’ve owned and executed
* Links to anything you’ve built (Notion docs, Airtable systems, dashboards etc.)
* Bonus: a <5 min Loom with how you’d approach this role. No need to script, natural
* 1-take is better for me (and you)
* The best people manage me. If that’s you, let’s talk.
