The Role The Sales Director will be the primary architect of the company’s market expansion. Reporting directly to the Board, the successful candidate will transform the firm’s sales function from a reactive bidding department into a proactive, high-performance growth engine targeting major UK developers and main contractors. Growth Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive national sales roadmap to increase market share within the sector. Pipeline Excellence: Overseeing the end-to-end business development lifecycle, from initial lead generation and networking to the final conversion of high-value multi-utility tenders. Key Account Management: Managing senior-level relationships with blue-chip housebuilders, industrial developers, and consultants, ensuring the firm remains the "provider of choice." Bid Leadership: Providing strategic direction to the estimating and proposals teams to ensure submissions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and aligned with client needs. A proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth within the UK Multi-Utility, Power, or Civil Infrastructure sectors. Deep familiarity with the UK housing market, industrial developments, and the regulatory frameworks of NERS, GIRS, and WIRS.
