About the Role:
We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to help grow and scale our YouTube channel while supporting our broader social media presence. This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate is based in Manchester (or willing to commute) and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
* Plan, create, edit, and optimise YouTube videos for audience growth
* Develop and implement strategies to increase subscribers, views, and engagement
* Collaborate on content ideas, scripts, and scheduling to align with brand goals
* Manage and post content across other social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Monitor analytics and provide insights for continual improvement
* Stay up-to-date with YouTube and social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing to create professional, engaging, and informative digital content
* Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and represent the brand online
* Experience in Marketing and YouTube channel management, including optimization, analytics, and audience engagement
* Familiarity with social media trends and strategies to improve content reach and build an active online community
* Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
* Knowledge of digital tools and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
* Interest or experience in early years education or childcare is a strong advantage
* Degree in Media Production, Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in YouTube content creation and channel growth
* Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
* Solid understanding of social media marketing strategies
* Experience with analytics tools to track performance and suggest improvements
* Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Attributes:
* Portfolio of successful YouTube or social media projects
* Understanding of SEO for YouTube and social media optimisation
* Enthusiasm for digital storytelling and brand development
