Assistant Site Manager
Location: Cornwall
We are working with a well-established contractor delivering a range of commercial refurbishment & new build projects across Cornwall. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme.

The Role
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of site, with a particular focus on live healthcare environments:
1. Assisting in the management of site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
2. Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
3. Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations, particularly within NHS environments
4. Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards
5. Supporting site documentation, reporting, and progress tracking
6. Liaising with clients, consultants, and the wider project team
Requirements
7. Experience working in a general contracting environment (NHS works advantageous)
8. Demonstrated longevity with previous employers
9. Strong understanding of site processes and health & safety compliance
10. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work
11. Good local supply chain knowledge within Cornwall
12. Strong IT skills, including MS365
