We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Live in accommodation is available for this position! Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich; the hotel is one of the most renowned country‑house hotels in Cheshire. Expertly blending old‑world charm with modern amenities, this stunning award‑winning property proudly boasts 4 AA Red Star status and several notable accolades for its dining.
Responsibilities
* Prepare food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
* Maintain a good level of knowledge regarding food menu items, including main ingredients, allergens and preparation style.
* Offer accurate and enticing product descriptions with recommendations based on guest preferences.
* Work towards departmental goals, contribute ideas, and be open to trying new ways of working.
* Take personal ownership within role parameters.
* Maintain knowledge of the wine list and stock availability, understand principles of food and wine matching, different grape varieties and predominant flavours.
* Be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.
Qualifications
* Current base knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality‑driven hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
* Adaptable and flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence, enabling anticipation of guests’ needs to deliver a Hand Picked experience.
* Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a high‑quality, personalised and magical experience that they remember, recommend and return to time and time again.
