Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and inspirational leader to champion the development of our education provisions and drive forward our Primary sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in teaching and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. The Deputy Headteacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, be the SENCO in a leading SEND organisation, fostering academic excellence, and ensuring the overall well-being of both students and staff.
Responsibilities
* Provide visionary leadership to the school community, promoting a culture of high expectations for all students and staff.
* Drive forward the registering of our primary school
* Oversee the development and implementation of the school curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards.
* Manage daily operations of the school, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community to enhance student learning experiences.
* Conduct regular assessments of student performance and implement strategies for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with educational regulations and policies while advocating for the needs of the school.
* Lead professional development initiatives for teachers to enhance instructional practices.
Requirements
* A valid teaching qualification with substantial experience in an educational setting is essential. Hold a SENCO qualification is desirable and have a willingness to complete.
* Proven leadership experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports all learners' needs.
