THE OPPORTUNITY Join a specialist regulatory team with a strong focus on Health and Safety matters. Work on a broad range of regulatory issues, from advisory work through to contentious matters. Support on HSE investigations, enforcement action and regulatory breaches. Gain exposure to inquests, often arising from serious workplace incidents. Assist on matters involving corporate manslaughter and safety-related prosecutions. Work closely with experienced lawyers on complex, high-profile and time-sensitive cases. Engage with clients across sectors including energy, transport, manufacturing and retail. Take on early responsibility in a team where junior lawyers are actively involved from the outset. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Qualified solicitor with 0-3 years’ PQE. Some experience of contentious, regulatory or investigations work, gained during a training seat or post-qualification. A clear interest in Health and Safety, inquests and wider regulatory work. Comfortable working on detailed, fact-heavy and often sensitive matters. Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients. Organised, proactive and keen to develop within a specialist regulatory practice.
