De-installations Assistant - Telecoms
Location: West Midlands (UK-wide travel required)Salary: £31,000 + overtime + allowancesJob Type: Full-time | Permanent
We are working with a well-established organisation in the telecoms sector who are looking to recruit a De-installations Assistant to join their field-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and travelling to different project sites.
The Role
Supporting telecoms projects across various customer sites, you will be involved in:
* Assisting with the decommissioning and removal of telecoms equipment
* Dismantling infrastructure and recovering cabling
* Loading and unloading equipment safely
* Supporting site logistics including deliveries and collections
* Assisting with asset tracking, stock control, and equipment labelling
* Preparing materials for reuse, storage, or recycling
This is a field-based role involving regular travel, with overnight stays during the working week.
About You
* Hands-on and practical approach to work
* Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
* Flexible and willing to travel and stay away when required
* Basic IT skills for recording and tracking assets
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
