An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (29 hours) Family Group Coordinator post in South East Kent.
Applicants will be fully trained and supported in learning the role.
Candidates are required to have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field such as Social Work, teaching, mediation, youth work, etc. (If relying on a Social Work qualification, you will be required to be registered with Social Work England) and have varied experience working with children and families during times of distress and conflict. Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
This position is considered by KCC to be customer-facing. The Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
