Due to continued growth and recent contract awards Mivan Limited are currently looking for additional students and graduates to join the business Summer 2024 across multiple areas of the business.

We currently have opportunities for a Graduate QS.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor you will be involved in all commercial matters and provide commercial support to the project team.
Main responsibilities will include:
* Site measurement
* Assist in the preparation of accounts for labour only subcontractors and draft payments.
* Assist with costing and sourcing labour and material.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly cost value reconciliation reports.
* Assist in monitoring and valuing the cost of variations.
* Attend internal hand-over meetings as required.
* Assist in the preparation of final accounts.
* Providing a support function for the Project Management team.
* To participate fully in all training and development activities and attend all related courses and other training as arranged. Work diligently towards developing the skills, knowledge and expertise to progress to Quantity Surveyor level.
The Successful Candidate
Applicants must be currently studying or recently completed a relevant qualification and should be articulate, proactive and have good communication and IT skills. Candidates must also be motivated and committed with an aptitude to learn quickly and the ability to work under pressure.
