Camberley
Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm, Hybrid role with up to 2 days per week in the local office
Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience with opportunity for annual bonus

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our established team in Camberley
Job Overview;
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for analysing spend data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across all Rentokil Initial businesses, ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts. You will be responsible for supporting the Waste and Procurement Manager on projects and activities as and when they arise.
You will also provide day to day supplier management on key suppliers and drive the businesses objectives on both sustainability and ethical procurement.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Deliver cost savings
2. Provide day to day supplier management on key suppliers
3. Drive sustainable and ethical procurement strategies
4. Run tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking where appropriate
5. Manage internal processes related to data gathering
6. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
7. Provide support where needed on the management of the waste category
Requirements
To be considered for the Procurement Officer role you will ideally have the following
Essential;
8. 1 year minimum previous procurement experience
9. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
10. Strong analytical skills
11. Problem solving skills
12. Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
13. Confidence and the ability to handle difficult conversations
14. Strong people skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport and communicate with people at all levels
Desirable;
15. Ability to work well within a team but happy working independently
16. Shows initiative and strives to succeed
17. Previous experience with stakeholder management at senior management level
