Production Operator
Kinetic Recruitment is looking to recruit Production Operatives with immediate starts for a leading manufacturing company based in Holywell.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate sorting and collation equipment according to company procedures and instructions, with a strong emphasis on quality control.
2. Monitor production continuously to ensure it meets quality standards, using all provided equipment, and ensure compliance with work procedures. Treat all equipment and tooling with respect and use only for their intended purposes.
3. Work closely with the shift team leader to maximize machine efficiency and ensure production meets dispatch deadlines.
4. Visually inspect products, check weights and sizes; attention to detail is essential.
5. Perform production duties and packing in line with quality standards.
Other Duties
1. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the company.
2. Maintain a safe working environment by performing housekeeping duties and wearing safety clothing and equipment at all times.
3. Communicate effectively with colleagues, focusing on teamwork, checking machine status, quality, maintenance issues, and ensuring production continuity using the handover logbook during inter-shift communications.
Working Hours and Compensation
Rotating shifts from Monday to Friday: Mornings 6am-2pm, Afternoons 2pm-10pm.
Salary: £13.98 per hour.
