We are excited to offer a full-time position as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant within a warm, welcoming and inclusive SEN primary school. This is a wonderful chance to gain hands‑on experience and develop the skills needed for careers in educational psychology, teaching, mental health, therapy, social work and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with pupils who will truly benefit from your support and enthusiasm.
* Gain invaluable experience in SEN, behaviour support and child development.

* Develop practical skills in communication, emotional regulation support, and therapeutic approaches.

* Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions to support academic, emotional and social development.
* Build warm, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe and confident.
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Observe and record progress, sharing insights with the teaching team.
* Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.


Qualifications

* A Psychology Graduate (or graduate in a similar field).
* Compassionate, patient and motivated by helping children succeed.
* An excellent communicator who can build rapport with pupils and staff alike.
* A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
* Keen to learn, grow and develop your career in SEND or child psychology.
