Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. Duties
* Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Organise daily schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance to optimise productivity.
* Oversee merchandising displays, ensuring they are attractive, well-stocked, and aligned with company standards.
* Manage stock levels, coordinate inventory checks, and facilitate replenishment processes.
* Provide training and support to new staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
* Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
* Maintain administrative records related to sales, staff attendance, and stock management accurately.
* Collaborate with management on strategic planning for sales growth and operational improvements.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.
Skills
* Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams within retail or sales environments.
