We have an exciting opportunity for an\nexperienced Transport Planner to join our long\nestablished and growing Freight Logistics Company based at our\nHemel Hempstead office
Working on our Traffic\ndesk you will be an integral part of our UK & European\nsub-contracting\noperation.
Key\nResponsibilities/Duties will include\n:
Liaising with our Company\napproved sub-contractors
Planning and allocating\nconsignments, ensuring all data on our TMS is created and processed\naccurately
Providing excellent communications\nwith customers, sub-contractors and\ncolleagues
Dealing with client queries\nefficiently
General transport\nadministration
Key\nskills and experience required for this role\ninclude:
The successful applicant\nwill have experience within a Haulage environment either on a\nTraffic desk or as a HGV driver.
Good\ngeographical knowledge, computer literate, excellent communication\nskills and have some knowledge of\nHGV's.
Attention to detail is also\nparamount.
