This role supports the Litigation division within the firm's Knowledge Management department, which includes other PSLs and a library manager. The focus will be on:
1. Keeping the team updated on legal and procedural updates through regular internal communications.
2. Curating and creating know-how resources and addressing fee earner queries.
3. Collaborating to identify and develop best practices.
4. Providing or coordinating technical and other training for teams and clients.
5. Supporting departmental business development, including profile raising and staying ahead of developments and technology.
Purpose of the job
This is a 12-month maternity cover role supporting the Litigation division within the firm's Knowledge Management department, focusing on legal updates, resource curation, training, and business development activities.
Accountabilities include:
* Implementing knowledge sharing initiatives and delivering technical training.
* Updating the firm's precedent database and creating new resources and procedures, with a focus on commercial/contract law if applicable.
* Producing materials for client updates, articles, webinars, and podcasts on legal developments.
* Supporting training and awareness updates for clients and intermediaries.
Professional Skills:
* Ability to develop seminars and train fee earners at all levels.
* Deep understanding of litigation and dispute resolution law and practice.
* Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and confidently.
The successful candidate will have significant litigation experience in England & Wales, with an excellent academic record. PSL experience is desirable but not essential.

* Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Prezi, Webex, or Adobe Connect is a plus.
