To lead on the implementation of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) across UHDB, developing knowledge and expertise in those specific areas, ensuring value for money and that compliant services are delivered and are reflected in provider contracts.
To participate in aspects relating to pelvic health services and provide expert clinical advice and guidance on a range of matters relating to pelvic health/LMNS project delivery. This includes service development and improvement initiatives and addressing clinical challenges across the system.
Together with the PPHS Project Lead, lead UHDB PPHS reviews, service specification development and pathway redesign using a collaborative approach with providers and other partners to help ensure that the best value for money and highest quality PPHS are secured within the available resources and specifications and comply with contract terms and conditions.
To provide robust clinical leadership to the clinical teams delivering care for these patients across all UHDB hospital sites.
To ensure that pelvic health service contributes appropriately to specialty KPIs, and to support the PPHS to achieve KPIs that relate to pelvic health service.
* Liaise with Informatics to ensure that relevant data is maintained and capable.
* Take a lead role on the risk-management of clinical practice developments in area of work, and across Therapies in connection with this patient population.
* Lead planning, organisation, delivery, and quality evaluation of the education and learning programme within the UHDB service in relation to PPHS.
* Evaluate the provision of clinical service delivery leading to development and/or redesign, as indicated, ensuring equitable service provision across all UHDB hospital sites.
* Lead the integration of best clinical evidence into practice across the clinical section of UHDB and support the research framework within Therapies involving initiation of research projects, evaluation, and implementation of evidence-based practice in order to ensure that high quality services are based on the best available evidence.
* Facilitate an ongoing learning and development environment with internal and external stakeholders and systems.
* Assess stakeholder needs and views of pelvic health services for the LMNS pelvic health patient population and work with them to develop expert practice.
