Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with a well established secondary school based in the heart of Solihull Borough, to appoint a dedicated and experienced teacher of science.
The role commences in the new academic year in September (2026) and is a full time position.
Important Information:
- Start date: September 2026
- Location: Solihull, B92
-Rate of pay: To scale (MPS/UPS) - weekly pay!
Our ideal applicant will:
- Hold a UK QTS for Science
- Have recent, relevant experience teaching Science lessons in the UK
- Be competent planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
- Have a strong understanding on how to differentiate lessons to suit the needs of individuals within the class
- Specialise in one area of science but be confident teaching across all specialisms (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
- Be confident managing classroom presence and will have strong classroom presence
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess pupil's progress on a regular basis
- Provide feedback to support pupil's development
- Prepare students to be best placed for success in their examinations
- Make safeguarding a priority, creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
