Wates House Student Bar based at the University of Surrey
We are recruiting for Bar Staff to join our team based at Wates House, the bar at the University of Surrey. We are looking for candidates who will enjoy working in a vibrant, busy environment, where work is fun, and the environment dynamic. The ideal candidate will offer a fresh and exciting approach to drink service, possess great customer service behind the bar and during food service. They should be a team player.
There are a variety of part-time hours available, but due to the nature of the role, it will involve some evening and weekend work, but flexibility is available for the right candidate. Further details on the role are available below:
Job description:
* Bartender, working with a cocktail led menu.
* Taking food orders and assisting with food table service.
* Be efficient, engaging and friendly with excellent customer service.
* Be a bubbly, energetic, motivated individual able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Work closely within a well trained organised team.
* Comply with health and safety, food safety and all other procedures
* Offer flexibility to support the requirements of a busy operation.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer care at all times.
* Work will be divided between bar and food service.
* Capable of taking instruction from the supervisors and manager on shift
The opening times are between 11am-12pm Monday - Thursday, and Friday 11am -1am
There are a variety of shifts available, with some earlier starts also needed.
The positions are part-time, with the options of more hours if available.
Experience within a similar setting is preferred, but training is available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.41 per hour
