Overview
:
1. Maintenance & Repair: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery and equipment, including excavators, loaders, and forklifts.
2. Diagnostics: Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on plant machinery to ensure efficient operation.
3. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
4. Workshop & Site Work: Work both in the workshop and on-site to repair and maintain machinery as required.
5. Documentation: Complete all relevant maintenance logs and reports accurately.
6. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure machinery is fully operational and projects run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
7. Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
8. Strong knowledge of a variety of plant machinery and equipment
9. Ability to diagnose faults and repair plant machinery in a timely manner
10. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
12. Full UK driving license (some travel between sites may be required)
13. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance) are desirable, but not essential
