About the Role This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to play a key role in delivering an inspiring Design & Technology curriculum to our bright and motivated students. You will be responsible for: Planning, developing, and delivering engaging and stimulating Design & Technology lessons across the Key Stages. Fostering a love of design and creation in students, equipping them with practical skills, design thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Contributing to the ongoing development of the Design & Technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and promotes innovation and creativity. Providing effective pastoral care and guidance to students, supporting their academic and personal development. Collaborating effectively with colleagues within the Design & Technology department and across the wider school community. About You You possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design & Technology or a relevant subject area. You have a proven track record of success in teaching Design & Technology, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment strategies. You are passionate about the subject and possess a broad knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing techniques. You are an engaging and innovative educator who can inspire students to think creatively, solve problems effectively, and work collaboratively. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You are committed to providing high-quality pastoral care and supporting the emotional and social development of students.
