Recruitment and HR Advisor
Location: Newcastle City Centre
Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 WFH)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible start/finish times)
The Role
As HR Administrator - Recruitment & HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting both recruitment and wider HR administration across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Liaising regularly with care home management teams to identify and understand current vacancies
* Proactively managing all company vacancies (posting, updating and removing roles on internal systems and job boards)
* Screening CVs to assess candidate suitability
* Supporting shortlisting processes with home administrators and managers
* Reviewing interview feedback and communicating outcomes to candidates
* Supporting candidates throughout the recruitment journey
* Managing recruitment inquiries via telephone and inbox
* Advising and guiding hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practice
* Updating Head Office recruitment boards with live vacancies
* Working closely with the Recruitment Compliance Officer following appointments
* Acting as note taker in investigation and disciplinary hearings
* Providing general HR administrative support as required
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced within an HR or recruitment role (essential)
* Knowledgeable in Right to Work documentation, including overseas applications and sponsorship (essential)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload
* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
* A proactive and supportive team player
* Professional, discreet and able to manage confidential information
