1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant - BL1 Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1). This full-time, term-time role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with a child who requires additional support to thrive in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs. Support the implementation of education health care plans (EHCP's). Encourage positive behaviour and build the pupil's confidence and independence. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress. * Support the pupil during transitions, break times, and classroom activities.
Ideal Candidate
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated). Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting learning. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
