Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1-hour lessons once a week for 8 weeks.
* Tailor lessons to the student's needs, focusing on both language and literature aspects of the GCSE curriculum.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that takes into account the student's SEMH needs.
* Monitor the student's progress and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
* Engage with parents or guardians to keep them informed of progress and discuss any areas for development.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher or experienced tutor with a strong background in teaching GCSE English.
* Experience working with students who have SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
* A DBS check (on the Update Service) or willingness to undergo one.
