Job Type: Contract - Ongoing
Salary:
PAYE: Up to £16.83 per hour / £673.20 per week
LTD: Up to £21.00 per hour / £840 per week
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Thursday 8am 5pm & Friday 8am 2.30pm
A well-established manufacturer based in Poole are looking to recruit for a Mechanical Inspector on a contract.
Duties will include;
Inspecting of first offs & finished products to engineering drawings
Create & logging of NCR
Producing and filling of inspection reports
Overseeing the Junior Inspector to ensure day to day tasks are completed, provide any support & training
The successful candidate will possess;
Previous experience of mechanical inspection
Experience of using measuring equipmentincluding bore-mikes, thread gauges, shadow graph, tali-surf, tri-mos, micrometres, height gauges.
A background of working to tight tolerances (tightest tolerance is 1000 of an inch plus or minus)
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
Ability to read and work from complex manufacturing drawings
