Job Title: Employee Services Advisor – Employee Relations

Job Summary: Provide professional HR advice and support to employees and managers across Beazley. In this role, you will provide first line HR advice and guidance to managers on people related issues and some Employee Relations cases. You will manage multiple HR cases from beginning to resolution, delivering clear, risk-based advice to managers throughout the process. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Advisor to join our People team and play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, end‑to‑end employee relations service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is confident managing a varied caseload while supporting continuous improvement across ER processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for employee relations queries, providing timely, pragmatic, and legally compliant advice.
* Manage a varied end‑to‑end ER caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness/attendance, probation reviews, and flexible working requests.
* Support and guide managers through both formal and informal processes, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures.
* Conduct investigations and prepare all associated documentation, including investigation reports and outcome letters, attending hearings as P&S support where required.
* Collaborate with HR Business Partners and wider P&S teams to identify emerging themes, risks, and opportunities for proactive intervention.
* Coach and empower managers to build capability, ensuring they have the confidence and knowledge to handle people matters in line with legal frameworks and best practice.
* Provide professional, risk‑assessed ER advice to managers and senior leaders, ensuring recommendations are grounded in legislation, policy, and commercial considerations.
* Partner with managers to determine the most effective solutions to ER issues, balancing employee experience, legal compliance, and organisational priorities.
* Ensure all advice and guidance is impartial, consistent, legally compliant, and aligned with company policies, procedures, and organisational values.
* Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
Personal Specification
* Knowledge of HR policies and regulations (multiple countries or global experience preferable).
* A recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is preferred.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in your location and be willing to build your knowledge in other jurisdictions.
* Ability to multitask and work across multiple case matters simultaneously.
* Experienced in maintaining accurate records, producing reports, and handling sensitive data with discretion.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and challenge constructively.
* Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
* Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and enhancing employee experience.
