Area Sales Manager
Homebased / Guildford
Up to £40,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance & home-based contract
Kff is a regional food wholesaler with around 250 colleagues near Maidstone, Kent. Part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. kff has a family feel, supplying local pub and restaurant customers and delivering directly to caterers.
We have ambitious growth plans and seek Area Sales Managers responsible for winning and growing independent foodservice business in your area. If you enjoy working in the field and growing your career within a leading Foodservice company, kff is the place for you.
Responsibilities:
* Gain, grow, and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
* Research target audiences and opportunities in your territory.
* Build and leverage strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
* Onboard new customers effectively and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
* Partner with customers to understand growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
* Understand competitor activity and proposals to provide the best local solutions to customers.
Requirements:
Candidate should be capable of winning new business and maximizing sales with existing customers. Ideally, they should be commercially savvy, proficient in Excel, and skilled in building relationships. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
