Our client, based in Gloucester, are currently recruiting for a Planned Works Manager on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the salary for the role is £52,755.
The ideal candidate will have Knowledge of Building Surveying and Asset Management, Contract Management, Disrepair and HHSRS all within Social Housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Overseeing the successful delivery of allocated planned investment projects, from procurement of contractors through to project completion
* Providing technical advice, support and expertise to a team
* Managing one-off specialist contracts, including large-scale adaptation works, legal disrepair, retrofit and decarbonisation works
* Supporting the asset management on all contract and commercial issues and disputes
* Allocating budgets and completing budget profiling, ensuring expenditure is monitored
* Overseeing CDM Compliance for the team
* Line managing a team, including 1:1s and development appraisals
* Handling tenant complaints relating to planned works programmes as necessary
Experience required:
* Experience required in Social Housing
* Experience overseeing the delivery of all retrofit and decarbonisation works
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Risk assessment and budgets
* Management of staff
