Flexible Employment Options
Flexible hourly employment: Paid for the work you do for our clients, including travel and mentorship time. Requires availability for 3 days (about 21 hours) during Monday-Friday. Suitable for balancing with other commitments.
Salaried part-time: Offered from 21 up to 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Ideally, you will be a driver with a car, as travel can be up to 2 hours from your home to clients. Travel and mileage are paid.
Learning and Development
We support your growth through dedicated mentorship, learning opportunities, and funded membership to BABICM, supporting progression to advanced membership levels. Your work will also contribute to maintaining your professional registration requirements.
Candidate Skills and Requirements
* Extensive experience working with children and young people with catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury, poly-trauma, spinal cord injury, limb loss, and cerebral palsy.
* Experience working directly with clients in the community, demonstrating skills in complex, long-term health care assessment, care planning, and achieving positive outcomes.
* Current HCPC/NMC/Social Work England registration and an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
Safeguarding and Eligibility
ILS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of clients. The position requires proof of eligibility to work in the UK, satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and adherence to safeguarding policies. All convictions, including spent ones not filtered by the DBS, must be declared.
