Job Description
Brook Street are working with a highly reputable accountancy firm based in the heart of Newport, who are looking to add to their team with an experienced Payroll Administrator on a part-time basis. The hours of work are 28 hours/week, and has the ability to go full time if the right candidate has accounting experience also.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately process multiple payrolls within set deadlines, ensuring full compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
2. Manage payroll-related data entry, including onboarding new employees, processing terminations, and updating employee status changes.
3. Review payroll information to detect and resolve any inconsistencies or errors promptly.
4. Keep detailed records of employee work hours, leave, and other payroll-related data.
5. Use accounting software such as Sage 50 and Xero; handle pension processing through Nest, Peoples' Pension, and Creative Auto platforms.
