EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) – BA5

Hours: Part‑time (Mondays & Thursdays) or Full‑time
A warm andweing primary school in the BA5 area is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team. This role is ideal for someone with strong EYFS knowledge who can support early development, learning routines, and child‑centred provision.
Role Overview
1. Support learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
2. Deliver small‑group and 1:1 activities focused on early literacy,munication and play‑based learning
3. Assist with continuous provision, observations and child‑initiated learning
4. Provide support for children with emerging SEN or additional needs
5. Work closely with the class teacher to implement structured routines
6. Help with classroom organisation, outdoor learning and daily transitions
Candidate Profile
7. Level 3 TA or Early Years qualification (essential)
8. Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum & early child development
9. Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable)
10. Confident, patient and nurturing approach
11. Able to support munication, early phonics and play‑based learning
12. Strong teamwork and munication skills
