Responsibilities 1 x Logistics Stock Controller - Full Time, 6 Month Fixed Term Location: Heywood Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Day Shift) Job Summary:The primary role of the logistics Stock Controller is to maintain the stockfile integrity of Heywood DC and its outside storage facilities in Yearsleys and PCC. With a need to understand any discrepancies between stockfile and physical stock while communicating with Supply Operations on all aspects of Inventory management that may disrupt service to our customerMajor Duties & Responsiblities: Perpetual inventory checks across all chambers within the DC/PCC/Yearsleys and investigation of all incidents of stock discrepancies on an on-going basis Investigate all Out of Stocks Management of the QIP process including controlling all supplier damage issues Control the ordering of product from outside storage facilities Control of damage and dump process through the DC WMS Housekeeping & maintenance Support & advise the warehouse operation with technical matters around WMS Rectify reconciliation reports on a daily basis specifically with Yearsleys Implement various reports and updates through the day/week Assist with Annual stocktakes in DC Conduct stocktakes for our VMI Customers at PCC Liaise with various departments regarding OOS avoidance Strive to fulfil customer needs and demands Qualifications Technical Competencies: 3 years of related experience in logistics and inventory management IT Literate (Excel & Microsoft office) WMS & JDE systems knowledge Some previous experience in inventory or stock control work is desirable Reach truck /scissor lift qualifications (Desirable) Behavioural Competencies: You will be methodical, organised and have the ability to work unsupervised and make decisions quickly Attention to detail and accuracy Good verbal and written skills Time management skills Ability to work under time pressure Actively seeks new knowledge and skills Flexible working pattern Self-motivated, driven to succeed Finish when the job is done This list is not intended to be exhaustive.
