ABOUT YOU
As the Marine Environmental Consultant, you will be undertaking and managing a range of environmental studies, including EIA, SEA and HRA. It will be varied, across a portfolio of projects and sectors including subsea cables, offshore renewables, and oil and gas - ensuing consultancy solutions that are sustainable, as we transition to a low carbon future.
Required skills and experience:
* Degree/Masters in a relevant discipline (environmental sciences or similar)
* Skilled in ornithology, underwater sound, marine ecology, marine mammals or fish and shellfish assessments
* Demonstratable project management and client account experience
* Track record of liaison with regulators and other stakeholders
* Demonstrable experience delivering consenting and environmental assessment solutions in the marine energy / industry sectors
* Strong technical, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
Additional Desirable Skills:
* 8+ years' experience in a relevant discipline
* Experience in preparing successful tender submissions
* Experience in mentoring junior consultants
* Professional Chartership
