Your Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative Digital Designer to join our Learning and Development team at Ashby de la Zouch on a 12 month maternity cover. This role will see you designing and developing engaging digital learning solutions from the utilisation of digital solutions such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, Film and Photography.

Responsibilities
* Reporting into the Learning and Development Manager, you’ll work closely with other members of L&D and the wider Talent Team to create compelling learning experiences that are effective and engaging.
* Use your digital expertise to support and complement subject matter expertise and learning and development understanding.
* Provide a full range of blended learning initiatives with the learner at the heart of the design, build and implementation.
* Produce learning solutions including animated and live-action video, eLearning content, infographics, PDFs (static and interactive), SharePoint pages and LMS items.
* Collaborate with the internal comms team to ensure L&D offerings are well-publicised and support key messaging to staff.
What Are We Looking For?
* Creative thinker with a focus on digital design and a track record of recommending new and original learning interventions.
* Experience with eLearning authoring software such as Articulate Storyline, Evolve and Qollab.
* Proven ability to create and design a range of learning and creative solutions, ideally within a large organisation, with experience of blended learning and modern learning methodologies (e.g., 70-20-10).
* Strong written and visual design skills with experience managing virtual projects and outstanding communication skills.
Essential Technical Skills
* Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Audition, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
* eLearning authoring tools (ideally Articulate Storyline, Evolve and Qollab; others considered).
* Microsoft Office; Microsoft SharePoint and basic HTML.
It would be desirable, however not essential, to have proven animation, film (editing) and photography experience.
