VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading organisation who are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team on an initial interim contract for 12 months, with potential for extension. This role can offer an experienced finance professional the chance to build their career within a national leading agriculture business.

The Ideal Person
If you have experience working in Finance or Accounting role:
1. Experience in Reporting / Journals
2. Previously worked with management accounts
3. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLookups)
4. Experience with Sage
5. Part Qual (ACCA,CIMA)
6. Ability to work in a team
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
7. Preparing management reports and analysis
8. Purchase ledger management
9. Processing bank and supplier ledgers
10. Implementing finance systems
11. Budgeting
12. Admin of Payroll including HMRC knowledge
