**Finance Manager – Ramsgate – Leading FMCG Company**
We are currently recruiting for a market leading drink company who supply a range of hospitality customers across the Southeast of UK. This is a company with a fantastic reputation across the industry and the deliver a high level of service to their customer base.
The role is for Finance Manager leading a small team from their office in Ramsgate. You would be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations of the business, provide accurate financial insight, look at improving ways of working and support the business as it grows.
Role
You will be responsible for
* Managing day-to-day financial operations and leading a finance team of four
* Preparing and posting month-end journals including accruals and prepayments
* Producing timely monthly financial reports including Balance Sheet, P&L, variance and margin analysis
* Managing VAT returns and statutory submissions
* Developing and improving financial systems, processes and policies during a period of growth
* Leading the preparation for the annual external audit and ensuring deadlines are met
* Monitoring budgets and KPIs, investigating variances and making recommendations to support business performance
Candidate
The ideal candidate will
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ideally have a professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
* Proven experience managing or mentoring finance team members
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments
* Experience using financial systems and reporting tools
* A proactive approach with the ability to improve processes and support business growth
