Supervisor (MRO) – Leadership & expertise that make flying possible!
As a key part of our MRO operations, the Supervisor will lead & manage a diverse team to facilitate the flow of work & tactical delivery of parts through processes (from Launch to Distribution Centre Delivery) in support of production plans.

What will I be doing?
* Supervise the Gate 1 and Gate 2 teams, taking accountability for (and to elect & supervise) dedicated focals in your area to control key processes including 5S, Calibration, Maintenance, Health & Safety, Tooling and GPI's.
* Ensure effective people management and to support performance & operational management, training, time and behaviours.
* Ensure that works procedures and SOPs are adhered to at all times.
* Take accountability for continuous improvement initiatives including process mapping, kaizen events, 5S, etc.
* Champion adherence to the Airworthiness regulations and ensure compliance via robust and accurate works procedure reviews.
Job Requirements
What do I need to succeed in the role?
* Demonstrable experience of leading & managing a high performing team (ideally within an engineering environment).
* A working knowledge of lean principles, to Green Belt level, and how to deploy these effectively to leverage continuous improvement within a defined area of control.
* The ability to adopt an efficient hands-on approach as appropriate.
* Capable of interpreting and communicating KPI's and developing appropriate actions.
* Familiarity with 8D and QRQC tools would be advantageous.
