Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Food Technology Teacher for a Secondary school in Northamptonshire! Job Title: Food Technology Teacher Salary: MPS (M1–M6) – £31,650.00 to £43,607.00 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by arrangement) Job Overview A vibrant and inclusive secondary school is seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Food Technology to join its dedicated team. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages Set high expectations for all learners, ensuring they reach their full potential Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students Create an inclusive, safe and inspiring classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues and manage support staff to maximise student progress Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring clear planning for improvement What We’re Looking For We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who has: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in a relevant subject specialism A passion for food education and hands-on, skills-based learning Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge A belief in the potential of every student, with a commitment to high standards A collaborative approach to working within a supportive teaching team Why Join This School?
