Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £32,597 (Level one) rising to £35,412 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Location: Meadows Family Hub, Kirkby Gardens, Nottingham, NG2 2HZ

About the Role

Are passionate about supporting parents, carers and professionals to make sure every baby in Nottingham has the best possible start in life.

Healthy Little Minds is seeking a compassionate and experienced Maternity Support Worker to join our parent-infant relationship team in Nottingham City. In this rewarding role you will work directly with parents, carers and infants providing assessments, 1:1 evidence-based interventions and group work to support infant mental health and nurturing early relationships.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience of working with vulnerable infants, children, young people and adults from a variety of backgrounds in an outcome focused way.

· Knowledge of different theories, models and approaches to working with infants and families, and experience of applying these in practice.

· A good knowledge and understanding of pregnancy, baby brain development, bonding and attachment, and the needs of babies and families.

· Ability to conduct assessments and analyse findings to formulate action plans, and the ability to produce high quality written records and reports.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
