Analyst KYC Operations BRIGHTON, EAST SUSSEX, United Kingdom(Hybrid) Job Description The Analyst, KYC Operations, is part of the Global Merchant Operations team within the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) business unit. The Global Merchant Operations team drives a resilient and efficient operational core for critical merchant experiences and supports initiatives in operational excellence. This role will support KYC/KYB activities across the merchant lifecycle, focusing on case analysis, monitoring, and execution of operational processes. The Analyst will leverage KYC subject matter expertise to assess risk, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to process improvements across the merchant business. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance with local regulations and global standards. Responsibilities The Analyst, KYC Operations will: Perform KYC/KYB case reviews and analysis, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Support ongoing monitoring activities, including reviewing alerts, identifying risks, and escalating potential issues as needed. Assist in remediation efforts by analyzing impacted accounts, documenting findings, and supporting resolution of KYC/KYB gaps. Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving KYC processes and refresh performance. Partner with compliance, risk, control management, servicing, and technology teams to support implementation of KYC/AML requirements. Apply KYC subject matter expertise to interpret policies, support decisioning, and provide insights on operational challenges. Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements to workflows and controls. Support documentation of procedures, controls, and standard operating processes. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent execution of KYC standards while considering local regulatory nuances. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 1-3 years of relevant experience with a strong foundation in KYC, AML, Financial Crime Compliance, or related operational risk within financial services. Demonstrated KYC subject matter expertise, including experience performing due diligence, reviewing documentation, and assessing risk. Experience supporting KYC/KYB processes, case handling, or operational workflows. Merchant services experience is required, along with knowledge and experience of GMS & GS systems and capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to interpret policies and apply regulatory requirements in a practical, operational setting. Proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis tools; experience with reporting and data visualization is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and global environment. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Risk Management, related field, or relevant experience.
