An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new nursing home opened recently in the Liverpool, Merseyside area. The home will offer nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare and specialist learning disability services to its residents. To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities
* Support and deputise for the Home Manager; provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
* Act as the home’s nurse expert; combine nursing skills with managerial and leadership responsibilities.
* Focus on residents with complex needs; ensure compliance with the latest guidelines, make sound decisions, maintain high levels of clinical governance, and regularly audit practices and procedures.
* Care plan development and assessments.
* Provide personalised, person-centered care with the team for all residents.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified Registered Nurse with current active NMC pin.
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience (preferred).
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* Ability to engage with service users to understand needs and provide excellent care services.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
* Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.

* Salary: GBP24.50 per hour; annual equivalent around GBP50,960.
