We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our dedicated Children in Care Service for a fixed term of six months. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Support Lead to ensure the smooth running of our service. About the Role As a Business Support Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to both Practitioners and Managers, contributing to the efficient operation of the Business Support Service in East Kent. This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, along with proven administrative experience. We are seeking an individual who is confident managing a diverse range of tasks and proficient in using various IT systems. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential case records on electronic systems and supporting a variety of meetings, including organising and taking precise minutes. This unique role will have a primary focus on: - Supporting financial tasks and procurement processes - Assisting with recruitment for the service - Planning and organising events - Providing direct support to Service Managers - Utilising Power BI to analyse and present data effectively, supporting clear communication across the Service You’ll be based at either Brook House in Whitstable or St Peters House in Broadstairs, with office attendance required.
