Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

A leading engineering services organisation is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer (Roller Shutters & Doors) to join its growing field service team. Operating across a range of commercial and residential environments, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing automated access systems while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Automation Engineer (Roller Shutters & Doors) Key Responsibilities
* Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain automatic doors, gates, and barrier systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing activities.
* Install and commission automated access equipment.
* Conduct site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
* Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain timesheets and job documentation to company standards.
* Participate in an on-call rota and undertake overtime when required.
Automation Engineer (Roller Shutters & Doors) Skills & Experience Required
* ADSA or ADIA accreditation.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working with automatic doors, gates, barriers, or related automation equipment.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
* Strong fault-finding and technical troubleshooting abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
* Flexible and professional approach to service delivery.
