Job Description
* Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, banking, and cash flow management.
* Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including intercompany transactions, accruals, and asset management.
* Ensure accurate results by business line.
* Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
* Ensure that the accounting provides relevant and reliable information both at Group and Local level.
* Support Finning Tax team with VAT and corporate tax submissions.
* Prepare audit files and coordinate local audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
* Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and financial reporting.
* Support Group Manager Finance strategic information/forecasting/AOP
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
* Proficient in ERP systems (preferably INFOR M3) and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
