We are working on behalf of a well-established infrastructure organisation seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Field Engineer to support critical projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Position: Cable Field Engineer
Location: London & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Role
As a Cable Field Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure works. This position involves hands-on fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, testing, and maintenance of underground and overhead cabling
* Carrying out site assessments and preparing detailed reports
* Diagnosing and resolving cable-related faults and technical issues
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
* Proven experience in cable installation and maintenance
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Full UK driving licence (preferred/required if applicable)
